Jerramungup

There are few better examples of how synthetic grass can enhance municipal leisure areas than in the town of Jerramungup. Pressure on water in the southwest of WA is often highest in agricultural areas where drought combines with domestic and commercial water demands to result in a real strain on resources.
That’s why forward thinking authorities like the Shire of Jerramungup have opted for more sustainable long-term solutions to the amenities they provide for their rate payers. Water savings have been a priority for the Shire, which will be a real benefit over the coming years but the immediate effect is an incredibly eye-catching play area for kids surrounded by attractive lawns for all ages to enjoy.

“The synthetic grass installation has been a great aesthetic upgrade to our town playground and provides us with a year-round high quality surface for families,” says Brent Bailey, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Shire of Jerramungup.

While the Shire has been delighted with their Green Planet Grass installation, our before and after photos of this stunning transformation tell the story quite emphatically. Roe Park has evolved from a dry and dusty amenity to a lush-looking oasis centred around a vibrant and colourful children’s play area.
