Students at Carey Baptist College in Harrisdale will soon be relishing their sporting curriculum with greater anticipation. Thanks to the installation of four new acrylic hard courts at the school.
Perth’s Green Planet Grass will install the new sporting complex, which will cater to tennis, netball and basketball. Having established a reputation as synthetic grass specialists, Green Planet Grass also supply and install large-scale acrylic hard court surfaces that can be used indoor or outdoor, and under any weather condition.
Acrylic hard courts installed by Green Planet Grass are supplied by market leaders, Rebound Ace, who has developed the same acrylic hard court concepts at Melbourne Park for the Australian Open over more than 20 years.
Carey Baptist College is serious about sports and understands the importance of the benefits that sport can deliver, not only for its students but also for the community.
The sports and commercial division of Green Planet Grass will design and construct four acrylic hard courts for tennis, basketball and netball. The project will comply with all applicable Australian standards. Work undertaken for this project will include demolition, base and kerb construction, drainage, lighting, fencing, construction of shelters and rebound walls, and installation of relevant court hardware. The four coat Rebound Ace Synpave sports acrylic hard court system will be installed complete with line marking for the various sports for which it is designed.
Green Planet Grass is pleased to be installing another Australian-made product which is accredited by the International Tennis Federation Pace Rating Classification, and one that requires minimal maintenance for the school. The company is also offering a variety of acrylic hard court and synthetic grass surfaces. Moreover, the systems installed are tailor-made to suit its purpose and budgetary limitations.
Carey Baptist College caters students from Kindergarten up to the 12th Year Level making the school a co-educational College, so there will be a large age range that will benefit from this hard court installation.
